We are so pleased to be delivering our ‘Families Together- Youth Well-being’’ project. Thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund we can now offer FREE family counselling to youth and families in Nottingham/shire affected by the issues detailed on the flyer below:

Services

Transform Counselling Services C.I.C. offers services in the Nottingham, Nottinghamshire and surrounding areas.

We offer the option for all sessions to take place remotely on request.

One to One Counselling

50-60 minutes / £50

Exploring a variety of issues that include, but are not limited to: Feelings of loneliness or isolation, anger management, stress/anxiety, bereavement, low self-esteem, coping with change, sexual/emotional/physical abuse

Mobile Counselling

Sessions are available for schools, colleges, universities, youth clubs, care homes and more. This service is available on a contractual basis only, and will involve a suitably qualified counsellor to be based at your business address for an agreed length of time. Please fill in the form on the contact page to request an information pack, to include fees, terms and conditions.

All counselling work is subject to an initial consultation for suitability of these services.

B.R.A.V.E. Workshops | Building Resilience Ambition (self) Value and Empowerment.

£120 (group of 6-8)

BRAVE Workshops aim to reach out to young males 11-25 years old who are finding it hard to cope with difficult life experiences that may have caused disruption to their usual routines; leading them to feel low in mood, lack motivation,  lack confidence, feel confused, frustrated, angry and even worried about their future.

Couples/Family Counselling

50-60 minutes / £65

The exploration of issues within a relationship/s with a Counsellor, these may include:

  • Communication

  • Problems with intimacy

  • Family relationships

  • Unhelpful patterns in relationships

  • Breakdown of trust

  • Family pressures and conflicts

Emotionally Focused Play

50 minutes / £45

For children aged 4-11 years old to explore feelings and emotions through play, in a safe and warm environment. Sessions will include a variety of play and creative techniques to help children expression their thoughts and feelings more clearly. This can be helpful for children who have experienced abuse, trauma, bereavement or are struggling to cope with changes in their lives.

For young females aged 11-25 who find it difficult to engage at school or at home due to difficult life experiences; the relaxed and warm environment will be sure to ‘break the ice’ allowing the group members to feel comfortable to participate and share their thoughts and feelings.

Group Therapy

90 minutes / £20pp

Group therapy can help individuals who struggle with:

  • Feelings of loneliness or isolation

  • Lack of confidence

  • Over dependence in relationships

  • Argumentative nature

  • Discomfort in social situations

  • Difficulty trusting others

  • Being easily hurt or offended

  • Social Anxiety

Counselling Supervision

60 minutes / £50

A service provided for qualified or trainee counsellors in line with the BACP ethical guidelines. Supervision is provided to review your work with clients, your professional development, and can include your personal development. Supervision for trainee counsellors will be offered at a discounted rate.

Harmony Well-Being Centre

HARMONY is a therapeutic alternative learning provision for children and young people with additional needs who live in Nottingham/shire.
